Hi canon, i have the mp495. i replaced the black cartridge, but the unit does not print, though it sends out a blank sheet of paper. the color is very low, and that may be the reason.. I have a canon pixma mg5350 printer. it is printing blank pages. i have tried all the cleaning maintenance including deep cleaning, as well as cleaning the print head with chemical and hot water.. I now see the maintenance tab. went through all the steps, and in the cartridge window i pressed black only, then hit ok. went to print a window opens to tell me that the printer will print on color only..
But it's still printing blank pages. i've gone through the maintenance stuff: nozzle clean, depp nozzle clean, i cleaned the roller and all that jazz. still all blank pages.. The printer sounds like it is printing----you can hear the print head moving---but nothing prints.... pages are completely blank. reseated the connections, no effect.. It's all set up correctly. it'll make the same noise and everything as if it's printing but the paper will come out blank. the black ink and color ink is full..
